Our Story

Camp Triple Threat, LLC was founded in the summer of 2019 by Maureen and Matthew Huberman—educators by day and passionate theatre artists and musicians by night. Together, they saw an opportunity to give back and help inspire a new generation of performers.

It had always been Maureen’s dream to run her own children’s performing arts camp in the South Coast area. Having grown up there and attended local show camps herself, she envisioned building on that foundation to create something truly special. Her goal was simple: to offer an exciting, fun, and action-packed program where kids from across South Coast Massachusetts and Rhode Island could come together for two unforgettable weeks, culminating in a performance they would always remember.

Since its inception, Camp Triple Threat has grown into far more than originally imagined. What began as a local program now welcomes campers not only from Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, but from across the state, the country, and even internationally. Each year, campers unite to take on the exciting challenge of learning and producing a full performance in just two weeks.

What makes CTT truly special is its inclusive and supportive environment. Every camper—regardless of background or experience—walks through the doors onto a level playing field. Some arrive having never stepped on stage, while others have performed with professional companies. No matter their experience, all campers begin Day One with the same shared goal: to collaborate, grow, and create something amazing together.

Throughout this magical experience, campers are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, discover new strengths, and uncover talents they may not have known they had. We strive to create a space where every child can learn, grow, and thrive—building not only performance skills, but confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

As educators, Maureen and Matthew hope that campers carry these skills, confidence, and newfound bravery into all areas of their lives, continuing to grow as performers and as members of their communities.

Our goal is for every camper to leave each day feeling fulfilled, energized, and inspired. By the end of the program, we hope each child walks away proud of what they’ve accomplished—and excited to return for next year’s show.

We can’t wait to continue growing the Camp Triple Threat family—and hope your family will be part of it!
